Pollyanna Pickering (1942–2018) was widely acclaimed as one of Europe’s leading wildlife artists and held the distinction of being the most published fine artist in Britain during her lifetime. Over the course of her career, she received nearly fifty international awards for her artwork.
Pollyanna served as the honorary patron of The Wildlife Art Society International. She was also a signature member of the Artists for Conservation Foundation, the Society of Feline Artists, and the Association of Animal Artists. Additionally, she was a fully juried member of the New York-based Society of Animal Artists.
A familiar presence on television, in her later years, Pollyanna became a regular and much-loved guest on Create and Craft, where she appeared in approximately 30 live shows each year.
