Crafting Queen Leonie Pujol of Art Inspirations

Hi, I’m Leonie, and have had many hats within the craft industry. It started with a simple love of making things, which I did from being a kid. As I grew up this increased into me wanting it to develop into a business, so myself and my sister used to travel round the country doing craft fairs. I even gave up my “proper” job (I worked for a stockbrokers in Manchester!). From there I took a job in a craft shop, owned by Dawn Bibby, who at the time demonstrated on QVC selling craft products. One thing led to another, and I ended up demonstrating and selling craft products on TV! Create and craft approached me to offer me a job, which was just too good to be true. And I swapped my hat again and became a craft presenter.

I stayed in the craft tv industry but moved channels to work at the brand new Hochanda. Which was lovely.

During all these years I’ve still crafted, demonstrated, taught, had a book published and started my own craft business.

It’s been an amazing journey so far. And I have loved meeting wonderful people along the way, many I am lucky enough to call friends.
